1. Overview

YT Creator Tools ("we", "our", "the service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws.

2. Your files stay on your device

All image and video processing on YT Creator Tools happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript, the Canvas API, and WebAssembly. We do not upload, receive, store, or process your files on any server. Your media never leaves your device.

3. Data we collect

We collect limited, anonymous data to operate and improve the service:

• Usage statistics — which tool was used, input/output format, approximate file size range, and timestamp. This is aggregated and not linked to personal identity.
• Technical data — browser language, anonymized IP address (last octet removed), and HTTP referrer. Used for analytics and abuse prevention.
• Page views — which pages are visited, to understand traffic patterns.
• Cookie consent — whether you accepted or declined cookies, stored in our database.

We do not collect: names, email addresses, account credentials, or any personally identifiable information (PII) unless you contact us directly.

4. Cookies

We use the following cookies and local storage items:

• ck_lang (localStorage) — your selected language preference. Stored locally, never sent to our server.
• ck_consent (localStorage) — records whether you accepted or declined our cookie consent banner.
• Google AdSense cookies — if you accept cookies, Google may set cookies to serve personalized ads. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

If you decline cookies, we will not load Google AdSense and no third-party advertising cookies will be set.

5. Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies to show ads based on your interests. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

6. Data storage and security

Usage statistics described in Section 3 are stored in a MySQL database on our hosting server (Ukraine). Data is retained for 24 months, after which it is deleted or anonymized. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect stored data.

7. Third-party services

• Google AdSense — advertising. Privacy Policy
• Google Fonts — typography (Inter). Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN.
• Anthropic Claude API — powers AI text generation tools (tags, titles, descriptions).

8. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Data portability.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

YT Creator Tools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
